i-RED & HLHR-KEMO Director on TV NET about migration
On 16 of June 2009, in the midst of racist public discourse about irregular migrants in Greece, i-RED and HLHR-KEMO RAXEN NFP Director, Miltos Pavlou participated in a discussion on migration on the 2nd State channel (NET) evening show PRESS. (video streams: available soon)
2008
In 2008, the i-RED Director delivered a number of interviews to the national and international press, radio and internet media. Most of them concerned the Athens Migrant Cities’ report findings and the developing social crisis and relevant rebellion and protests in Athens, Greece on December 2008. Other important issues were the situation of Roma populations and the ghettoisation of refugees and asylum seekers, and the rapidly increasing racist violence against migrants and minorities.
